Solutions in sight
In the face of unpredictable markets and a changing climate, farmers and those who serve them have never been asked to do more with less.
At Ceres Imaging, we believe the future of agriculture depends on providing industry professionals with the right tools—to cover more ground, make the most of their resources, and apply their skill and experience where it’s needed most. That's why we're creating precision agriculture solutions that help farms improve profitability.

Our story
Founder Ashwin Madgavkar launched Ceres Imaging as a graduate student in 2014, inspired by emerging technology in spectral imagery and galvanized by the plight of California growers navigating a severe drought.
Today, Ceres Imaging is a venture-backed company delivering precision agriculture solutions that help growers detect acute issues, track and measure progress, and improve farm performance. From our headquarters in Oakland, California, we serve growers in Australia, South America, and the United States.

Our team
We’re a team of diverse subject-matter experts, from agronomists and PCAs to engineers and astrophysicists. We’re passionate about agriculture because we farm, too.
The difference between Ceres Imaging and other technologies I've used is the help I get from their expert team.
With Ceres Imaging we can take a more targeted approach to applying fertilizer and nutrients.
These flights can cover way more ground and provide more insight than a dozen soil moisture probes — and it's cheaper to implement.
The average Ceres Imaging conductance measurement from its imagery over the season has provided the best correlation with applied water.
